Administrative Assistant
Job Summary
The Administrative Assistant position is responsible for providing assistance to the agency in a variety of administrative tasks, including but not limited to processing employee files, collecting and analyzing data, administering surveys, answering a multi-line phone system and directing calls accordingly, etc. as well as performing receptionist duties.
This position also manages Aspire's social media presence, maintains the website, obtains and edits photographs and videos to be used in the creation of agency promotional materials.
Requirements for Employment
- Must posses a high school diploma or GED. Secretarial experience or degree preferred.
- Proficient in utilizing Microsoft Office suite, WordPress, Mailchimp, Survey Monkey, Canva, Dropbox, Zoom, business side of Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, Twitter, Snapchat and Tiktok.
- Familiar with modern office methods and procedures, filing, telephone techniques, office equipment, as well as English usage, spelling, grammar and punctuation.
- Communicate effectively, both orally and written (including human relations skills to deal effectively with visitors/co-workers in person or on the telephone).
- Must perform administrative duties with speed and accuracy without immediate and constant supervision.
- Must prioritize, organize, meet timelines, and be detail orientated.
- Must make important decisions, and exercise discretion and judgment.
Physical Demands of the Job
- Ability to stand, stoop, sit for long periods of time, lift moderate weights and pull/push items.
