Job Coach

Job Summary

Job Coach provides on the job training as part of the Supported Employment Program at Aspire Inc. They may also provide job development, vocational assessments and other employment related services. They will work closely with Employment Specialists and community employers to determine employment goals and that those goals are met.

A job coach may assist with transporting participants, picking up/delivering items or supplies and accompanying participants to appointments when needed.

Physical Demands of the Job

  • Must be able to stand, stoop, lift moderate weights, and pull/push items.
  • Perform CPR and de-escalation and physical interventions

Requirements for Employment

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Minimum of High School diploma or GED
  • Must have a valid drivers license and be insurable under agency policy.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours depending on current needs of participants receiving job coaching services.
  • Basic fluency in oral and written English.
  • Must successfully complete and agency approved trainings and certifications
  • Computer experience and comfortable with navigation of technology

Extensive training is provided to new employees to enable them to do the best work possible.
