January Shooting Star Award Winner

Aspire is proud to recognize Jackie Jund as our January Shooting Star Award Winner!

 

Each month Aspire collects outstanding employee recognition called Shooting Star nominations.  These are voted upon and awarded at our monthly staff meeting.  All of the monthly award winners are voted upon each year to select our yearly Shooting Star Award winner.

I would like to nominate Jackie for the shooting star award because she always goes above and beyond for our fabulous people. She works tirelessly making sure to follow up on appointments, doctor/nurse’s notes, clarification on things when instructions aren’t real clear, etc. Jackie is also great if an employee has a medical question and has always been so great about keeping us informed on things going on around us. She is always upbeat, has a good sense of humor, and is fun to talk to!

I also appreciate how she will take numerous calls a day from people we support stating they are sick or asking her lots of questions. She was also great when people were coming into the center about looking them over when they were not feeling well just to help them feel better. It’s not often you find someone with such patience for those that are “sick” a lot and just need to hear they’re okay from a nurse. Even if all she needed to do was give them a cough drop. They were miraculously cured of their ailment!

Thank you, Jackie, for always show such professionalism to the people we serve and to the staff of Aspire. I know things get super hectic back there for you sometimes and you’re always so great to me when I have to bug you for doctor’s notes or instructions on someone. I appreciate everything that you do for Aspire! We are very lucky to have you and I know the people we support appreciate you as well!
