March Shooting Star Award Winner

Aspire is proud to recognize Amanda Maier as our March Shooting Star Award Winner!

 

Each month Aspire collects outstanding employee recognition called Shooting Star nominations.  These are voted upon and awarded at our monthly staff meeting.  All of the monthly award winners are voted upon each year to select our yearly Shooting Star Award winner.

I would like to nominate Amanda for all of the hard work that she has been putting into the preparation of our CQL meetings. We come up with ideas, create a schedule, do interviews vie video, and compile pictures which is very time-consuming but not too strenuous. Amanda however, is the one behind the scenes compiling all of this and making it look “pretty” by also digging for pictures, editing videos, making sure the sound quality is good, and making sure everything is in the correct order for our presentation. Not only is this tedious, but it is also emotional. I walked into her office and she was in tears because she was working on the video of Nate receiving his Clarence jersey. With tears in her eyes, she bubbly told me that it’s going to be a long week because she also has to work on things regarding Virginia’s story as well.

It’s moments like this that make us take a step back to appreciate not only the effect that we have on people supported but the effect they have on us silently creating a dedication to Aspire. Thank you Amanda for not only your hard work, dedication, and your professionalism but also for showing vulnerability as it is very hard for many of us to do that. You are essential to this team!
