Un-Be-Leaf-Able Award Nominations
Each month Aspire recognizes and outstanding employee that has been nominated for going above and beyond the basics of their job.
The recognition doesn't stop there; the monthly winners are voted upon yearly to select our Simply the Best winner. These winners are then submitted to the SD recognition award system, which if selected are then honored nationally. In 2016, 2018, 2019 and again 2021 an Aspire employee was selected as the South Dakota Direct Support Professional of the Year and presented with that award at the national ANCOR conference.
Consider the following criteria when nominating someone:
- Professional expertise
- Performance above and beyond what would normally be expected from an Aspire staff person
- Outstanding performance under difficult circumstances
- Tenure with Aspire
- Rapport with the people we support, families/guardians and Aspire team members
- Attitude
- Motivation
- Consistency of performance
- Initiative to improve his/her professional abilities by in-service, education, workshops, etc.
